Automotive Design Engineer

We are seeking an Automotive Design Engineer to create technical designs in the automobile manufacturing industry. The candidate must have knowledge and experience of 3 to 8 years of experience in the design & development of Seating.

Job Description:

• Roles and Responsibilities: Having 3-8 years of experience in the design & development of Seating.
• Good knowledge of design and development of Plastics, Frame and Foam.
• Able to understand customer requirements and execute the jobs based on technical meeting discussions.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of injection moulded plastic components.
• Very strong in UGNX CAD software – part design, surfacing, assembly, and drafting.
• Able to guide juniors and execute the job requirements as a team.
• Good knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS, 3D annotations, GD & T, and tolerance stack-up.
• Experience of working in a CFT environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated, must be able to drive the project and meet the project timelines.
• Very good in English communication (written and oral)

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience in design & development
• Good exposure to product development lifecycle for Interior trims.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes of injection moulded plastic components
• Very strong in Catia V5/ UG-NX CAD software – part design, surfacing, assembly, and drafting.
• Good knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS, DFMEA, DVP, 3D annotations, GD & T, tolerance stack-up, and change management.
• Experience of working in a CFT environment.
• Very good in English communication (written and oral)
• Adept at using problem-solving techniques, to resolve validation/assembly/manufacturing & interpersonal issues.
